Graphic / Digital Designer for a fast developing bioenergy company.

Your new company
A unique business that offer a complete supply chain solution for biomass crops in the UK, from growing, to processing and supply; they also take an active role in the bioenergy research sector. They work with academic institutes from around the world to breed better crop varieties, improve crop agronomy and to develop and improve the end uses of biomass crops. They are currently in the process of developing a new system to help manage their research data and are looking to refresh their existing website.

Your new role
As Graphic / Digital Designer you work with their Development team to guide the design of both the new website and the user interface of their new software platform. This will include working on the layout and graphical elements to refresh the existing site; you will be given the opportunity to design info graphics that will help disseminate information from their ongoing research and commercial activities to their customer base. You will work with all divisions of the business to gather information for the site and will get to work with the marketing and social media teams to help refresh the brand and communication in those areas. In addition you will have the opportunity to work on the user interface design of a newly developed piece of software, for this you will work with both scientific and IT teams to design interface elements that are intuitive and clear to the varied research partners they work with.

What you'll need to succeed
As a Graduate in Graphic Design / Digital Design or similar you will have the ability to produce high calibre creative work for both web graphics and software interfaces for both web and app's. As part of a small team you must have a passion for what you do, take pride in your work and be able to manage your own time in order to complete projects as requested.

The starting salary is in the region of £18-20,000 and this will be reviewed following successful completion of your probation period.
